While working in the kitchen, there were moments when I didn’t have time to make a traditional stock for my station. However, through my ups and downs, I was able to figure out the easiest vegetable stock ever to add more flavors into my cuisines. It’s so simple and quick, you’ll have a stock ready in no time! 🙂
Vegetable Stock
Equipment
- 1 Medium to Large Pot
- 1 Large Spoon
Ingredients
- 6 cups Spinach
- 8 cups Water
Step 1
For the easiest vegetable stock ever, start by heating up water in the large medium pot. Wait until it’s simmering or close to boiling. Then turn it off.
Step 2
Add spinach (or any type of greens to the pot). Mix it in and allowed it to heat up in the water for about 10-15 mins.
Step 3
Once the greens are done cooking, remove it from the pot. You save them for later for another cuisine (I use the spinach for my risotto).
Step 4
Your stock is done! You can either cool it down and save it for later, or use it for your recipes for the same day. You can try it with you soup, sauce, grains, beans, etc. Enjoy! 🙂
